New features and enhancements
Updated Nginx with OpenSSL 3.0
-
The OpenSSL library, used by the Nginx service, was updated to version 3.0 for increased resilience and security. OpenSSL 3.0 is FIPS 140-2 certified, making all Dynatrace Managed deployments ensuring FIPS 140-2 compliant cryptographic modules independently from an operating system. This change also deprecates the use of
--fips-mode
installation option. -
NGINX provided in a Managed node deployment now supports TLS 1.3 communication and new ciphers.
