Synthetic locations API v2 - DELETE a location (Dynatrace Managed)

This API call deletes an existing private Synthetic location. Deletion cannot be undone.

Authentication

To execute this request, you need the Service Provider API (ServiceProviderAPI) permission assigned to your API token. Generate your API token via Cluster Management Console (CMC). To learn how to obtain and use it, see Cluster API - Authentication.

Success. The location has been deleted. Response doesn't have a body.

Example

In this example, the request deletes the private Synthetic location from the POST request example. The response code of 204 indicates that the deletion was successful.

The API token is passed in the Authorization header.
