Account management

Dynatrace Account Management provides a single place to:

  • Manage Dynatrace license and subscriptions
  • Manage Dynatrace users and SSO access (for SaaS deployments only; for Managed accounts, this is done in Cluster settings)
  • Monitor Dynatrace platform adoption and environment health

License and subscription information

For license and subscription information, Account Management allows you to:

  • View license/subscription usage and consumption history for SaaS, Managed, and Dynatrace Platform Subscriptions
  • View a forecast of future usage for Digital experience monitoring, Davis data units and Dynatrace Platform Subscription licenses
  • Manage cluster environment and tenant limits for Dynatrace Platform Subscriptions
  • View all license quota notifications for SaaS and Managed licenses, and view annual commit and limit notifications for Dynatrace Platform Subscription customers
  • Setup license notification email distribution for Dynatrace Platform Subscription customers

Users and permissions

For Dynatrace SaaS customers, and for Dynatrace Platform Subscription deployments using the SaaS model, Identity and Access Management (IAM) allows you to manage:

  • User groups and permissions
  • Users and groups with SAML in Dynatrace SaaS
  • Users and groups with SCIM in Dynatrace SaaS
  • API OAuth tokens for the Account Management API

Note: IAM for Dynatrace Managed deployments is managed within each cluster. For details, see User groups, permissions, and policies.

Platform adoption and environment health

For insights into platform adoption and health, Dynatrace Lens gives you insight into:

  • User activity
  • Which technologies are being monitored across Dynatrace
  • How monitored hosts are deployed (license type, platform type)
  • How many synthetic tests are running
  • How many problem notification integrations are defined
