We’ve now enhanced failure analysis to cover 404 broken-link errors. By default, 404 errors are now counted as broken links only if the requests are made from within the same domain (this is to avoid out-dated bookmarks and broken links from external sites showing up as errors). This setting can of course be configured if required. When a 404 is recognized as a broken link, Dynatrace shows both the missing resource and the page from which the resource was requested.
