Starting from real answers: The moment a problem opens, Dynatrace has already computed the causal root cause and the blast radius. The agent never starts from a blank page, so it skips the slow part of an investigation and acts on a reliable answer instead of a guess.

Use cases

  • Resolve incidents faster. When a problem fires, the agent has already found the root cause and blast radius. It proposes a fix (for example, a rollback) that an engineer can approve in one click, cutting response time from hours to minutes.
  • Prevent incidents before they happen. Forecasts of resource exhaustion or capacity limits can trigger the agent directly, so it prepares a fix before the outage occurs.
  • Collaborate with your existing cloud agents. The SRE Agent hands grounded, verified context to tools like AWS DevOps Agent, Azure SRE Agent, or ServiceNow Assist, which then act in their own environment (for example, opening a pull request), with results linked back to the Dynatrace problem.
  • Automatic triage and routing. Cuts through alert storms to identify what matters and routes it to the responsible team or component owner.
  • Governed automation. All actions run within your IAM controls, with human approval available at every step and a complete audit trail.
