Start from a conversation and the agent becomes your expert assistant, in Dynatrace Assist or through the Dynatrace MCP server, wherever you work. Or let it run autonomously when an event triggers it: detections, vulnerabilities, compliance findings, logs and spans are joined to live topology, real exposure is scored against your runtime, and the agent proposes a fix a human approves.

  • Inventory what you have. Count and rank vulnerabilities.
  • Check a specific exposure. Does this CVE touch production?
  • Prioritize and remediate. The active set with a fix direction.
  • Prove compliance. Top gaps for a scope.
  • Understand context. Exposure, confidence, entities named, the reasoning shown, and a YAML diff, a Jira ticket or a GitHub issue, created for review rather than applied.

  • Prioritize problems with security insights: it asks whether security findings caused the problem and scores its own confidence in the answer.
  • Weekly exposure change report: a weekly read on what actually changed in exposure, rather than another list of findings.

  1. Enable generative AI and agentic AI for your environment and assign the permissions through a policy. See the getting started documentation.
  2. In Dynatrace Assist, ask whether you are exposed to a CVE you are tracking, then follow up on the related entities. To ask from your IDE or terminal, install the Dynatrace MCP server.

Run it autonomously

  1. In Dynatrace Intelligence for Workflows, add the ready-made security agents to a workflow triggered on security alerts.
  2. The agent triages, and the workflow adds the approval gate. Keep it in front of anything that changes a running configuration, and run the workflow as a reduced-scope service user.
