Dynatrace integrates with GitLab security capabilities to enable visibility, orchestration, and prioritization of security findings.

  • Added proxy support for GitLab API connectivity, including optional proxy username and password configuration.
  • Added Dynatrace credential vault support for the GitLab personal access token.

Improved in this version

  • Updated product.name mapping to prefer GitLab scanner.name instead of scanner.externalId.
  • Restricted dt.security.risk.level to the supported risk score keys (CRITICAL, HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW, NONE); any other value is mapped to NONE.
  • Strengthened custom security ingest URL validation to reject loopback, link-local, and unspecified hosts (IPv4/IPv6, e.g. 127.0.0.2, ::1) while allowing normal domain endpoints, with a clear MultiStatus configuration error.
  • Invalid GitLab proxy configuration now fails fastcheck and surfaces via MultiStatus instead of silently falling back to a direct connection.
  • Finding required-field validation now evaluates the assembled mapping list (including dependency name/version) before emit.
  • Resolved Ruff lint and formatting issues across the extension codebase.
  • Improved fastcheck fail-fast behavior for proxy and connectivity errors (short timeouts, no retries) so ActiveGate surfaces the real error instead of a 60-second datasource timeout.
