Overview

Cisco Nexus devices are a critical component in your network infrastructure. The Generic Cisco Device monitoring extension allows for remote monitoring of your Cisco Nexus devices via the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).

Use cases

  • Monitor resource usage of network components
  • Detect and alert on issues with critical protocols such as BGP
  • Identify problems with network interfaces

This extension is designed to monitor a variety of Cisco Nexus devices. Only Nexus products still supported by Cisco will be officially supported.
