Overview

The agent ranks 30 days of problem signatures by accumulated downtime, and tells you which to fix and which to tune. It is a workflow template for the Optimize and Tune use case of Agentic Operations, where analysis runs on a schedule and reaches the person who can act on it.

  • FIX, TUNE or SUPPRESS. Every recommendation is labelled, each with the evidence that would confirm the cause before you act.
  • Flapping separated from real impact. Detection uses occurrences per active day against median downtime.
  • Downtime added up. No more living with a signature that has fired 300 times because nobody added up what it costs.

Use cases

  • Find the problem signature that costs the most downtime over 30 days.
  • Tell a threshold set too tight from a defect that keeps recurring.
  • Review the result with the owner of the alert configuration.

Get started

  1. Enable Dynatrace Intelligence for Workflows and the generative and agentic AI functionality in your environment.
  2. Get the workflow template from the community examples on GitHub, import it in Workflows and add the recipients.
  3. Run it once from the editor, then activate it.

The agent runs inside the permissions of its operator, and every execution is recorded.
