Overview

The Arista extension leverages SNMP to gather performance and health metrics from your Arista devices every minute. This data is seamlessly integrated into Dynatrace’s Infrastructure & Operations app, offering Network and Ops Administrators quick, actionable insights at a glance.

Use cases

  • Quickly identify problematic interfaces that are dropping or corrupting packets.
  • Pinpoint hardware faults, misconfigurations or congestion issues affecting performance or reliability down to the TCP/UDP level.
  • Track real-time and historical bandwidth usage to understand traffic patterns.
  • Monitor CPU and memory consumption on Arista devices to detect potential leaks or resource exhaustion.
