Overview

This extension leverages the WMI protocol to collect data from Windows hosts, without the need for any agent. This enables agent-less, remote monitoring while providing the same transparency and visibility of Windows hosts as otherwise only offered with a OneAgent installation.

This is intended for users, who:

  • Want to monitor Microsoft Windows hosts
  • Can’t install an agent on the host

This enables you to:

  • Remotely monitor windows host
  • Collect all relevant data like:
    • CPU and memory utilization
    • I/O operations and disk usage
    • Network interface and traffic statistics
    • Details of processes and network services running

Supported Distributions

  • All versions of Windows supported by Microsoft
  • Successfully tested on older version of Windows and will provide best effort support for older OS's
