You can now add Davis CoPilot to your workflow. Simply define your prompt and Davis CoPilot will execute it. You can easily use the generated response in any subsequent action.

Overview

You can now access Davis CoPilot, Dynatrace generative AI, directly from a workflow. Use generative AI to summarize, explain, translate, or generate content to suit your use case. You can pass an input from a preceding workflow action result to the Davis CoPilot action, or use Davis CoPilot's response in a following action. You can even add multiple Davis CoPilot actions to a single workflow.

Use cases

  • Summarize and explain content, for example:
    • Summarize open problems and prompt Davis CoPilot to prioritize these and make remediation recommendations. Have an update sent to a Slack channel every 2 hours.
    • Use Davis CoPilot to summarize insights from across your environment and provide a daily report via email.
  • Translate any input to your chosen language.

  • Enrich problems on the fly by adding suggestions for code fixes or crash log-related configuration to problem descriptions.
  • Prompt Davis CoPilot to analyze the results from a preceding action, and to follow different rules based on the results (for example, "Analyze the results and determine if this is valid. If valid, respond with "Yes" as well as recommendations for optimization. If invalid, respond with "No" and a brief justification of your decision).

Get started

In order to get started with the Davis CoPilot workflow action, you need to:

  • Install this app.
  • Enable Davis CoPilot in your environment, following these instructions.
  • Assign permissions to relevant user groups to access the conversational recommender skill.

Once you've completed these steps, you can add the Davis CoPilot action to any workflow.

  • Davis CoPilot for Workflows is currently in Preview and only available to pre-approved Dynatrace customers.
  • Davis CoPilot usage limits apply to this workflow action. If you run into the limits, please reach out to your CSM or the product team at davis.copilot@dynatrace.com to discuss your use case.
  • The Davis CoPilot action has a character limit for the various input fields. If you find that these are too restrictive, please provide feedback on our Preview Community user group.
