Compliance Assistant helps you track, manage, and automate compliance across your IT and business landscape. It provides real-time visibility into compliance risks ā€” starting with EU DORA ā€” and integrates security and vulnerability insights so you can continuously monitor compliance health across critical business processes and automate incident response.

Use cases

Compliance Assistant enables you to achieve and manage compliance across supported frameworks:

  • Identify and map compliance-relevant IT assets by analyzing critical end-to-end business processes ā€” promoting cross-functional alignment between IT, security, and business teams.
  • Continuously track compliance status against a selected framework and detect risks using real-time data on vulnerabilities, detection findings, and misconfigurations.
  • Detect, classify, and accelerate reporting of incidents that meet regulatory thresholds, automating the steps needed to comply with tight regulatory deadlines.

Get started

The app has an integrated onboarding flow that helps youā€Æget the most value from Compliance Assistant:ā€Æ

  • Select Set up framework and select the compliance framework you want to monitor. Currently, EU DORA is supported.
  • Select the Critical or Important Functions (CIFs) you want to monitor. If necessary, set up Business Flow with processes with the configuration as entity to monitor compliance-critical processes.
  • Verify that data sources for security events are configured (vulnerabilities, detection findings, compliance results) to meet risk monitoring requirements.

Dynatrace Compliance Assistant has been released to General Availability (GA), enabling you to track, manage, and automate compliance across your IT and business landscape. Compliance Assistant now supports the EU DORA Regulation compliance framework with the key capabilities to:

  • Identify critical or important functions (CIFs) mapping compliance-relevant IT assets to critical business processes using Business Flow.

  • Proactively mitigate risks with real-time visibility into compliance health.

  • Automate incident classification in line with regulatory criteria to simplify regulatory reporting.
