Here we are again, 405 days from last year’s Gartner Magic Quadrant for APM and we are proud and humbled to be in the Leader’s quadrant for the sixth consecutive year*. We’ve had an amazing and transformational year, and we are excited to see that our passion and undivided focus on the APM segment resulted in this placement in the MQ.

In May, Gartner named Dynatrace the worldwide APM market share leader, with 12.5% of Revenue Share in the global market in 2014[1]. This is more than three times the revenue of other new generation APM vendors. In June we integrated with Keynote Systems, and brought an amazing group of talent and customers into the family further expanding our leadership at 1,700 people strong, supporting more than 8,000 global customers, over 100,000 community members and driving more than $450 million in revenue annually. In July Internet Retailer ranked us as the #1 provider in web monitoring and SD Times named us a leader and innovator in the “Quality Assurance, Security, and Performance”. And, (whew, I’m out of breath) in October we executed the world’s largest APM conference welcoming some of the world’s most inspiring digital transformation thought-leaders and companies, from Ray Wang to Daniel Burrus, Panera Bread to Nodesource.

I’d like to say a special thank you to our customers, partners and employees for making Dynatrace what we are today – APM leaders. I’d also like to thank Cameron Haight, Will Cappelli and Federico De Silva of Gartner for their feedback and above all – integrity, in completing this analysis.
