Alastair is an author and motivational speaker who has been named adventurer of the year. He spent four years cycling around the world, has raced yachts across the Atlantic, and has canoed 500 miles down the Yukon River. He encourages people to fit adventure into their everyday lives, as he know does with his wife and two young children.
Mark’s testing career began in 1992 with a comprehensive two-year test for a life-critical transportation system, a project which captured his interest for software testing, quality assurance, and test automation. After extended work at Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard, he has amassed broad experiences with real-world scenario testing of large and complex systems and is regarded as a thought-leader expert in software testing automation with a specific emphasis on performance. Mark also offers assistance to customers adopting modern performance testing and engineering practices.
Lead Web Systems Administrator, Web Operations
Nestor has more than 12 years of experience in the IT field. Currently, He is a Lead Web Systems Administrator focusing on DevOps and automation for Citrix Systems. He has experience implementing and architecting both on-prem and SaaS/One Agent Dynatrace environments both in production and pre-production, helping his Web Ops team become more agile and incorporate APM adoption across all application lifecycles. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and success stories in his DevOps journey.
E-Commerce DevOps Team Leader
In Abdul’s current role as Lead to the E-Commerce Operations team, he is responsible for the ongoing operations of all Travis Perkins’ transactional group websites including wickes.co.uk and travisperkins.co.uk. This includes: ensuring high availability, resolving system problems, maintaining front end website performance, managing deployments and releasing into the company’s production environment, etc. Abdul also work closely with the business to ensure that their operational IT needs are being met. He worked on managing the role with Dynatrace AMP across Travis Perkins’ e-commerce site and Dynatrace Ruxit across its middleware services and currently owns the relationship with Dynatrace for Travis Perkins.
Andreas Grabner has 15+ years’ experience as an architect and developer in the Java and .NET space. In his current role, Andi works as an advocate for high performing applications in both the development and operations areas. He is a regular expert and contributor to large performance and DevOps communities, a frequent speaker at technology conferences and regularly publishes articles on the Dynatrace blog.

Klaus is a Senior Technology Strategist in the Innovation Lab at Dynatrace. Klaus influences the strategic direction and development of digital experience management solutions. He has deep experience gleaned from years of developing and running large scale web and mobile applications for online businesses.
A digital analyst, anthropologist, and futurist, Solis has studied and influenced the effects of emerging technology on business, marketing, and culture. His research and his books help executives, and also everyday people, better understand the relationship between the evolution of technology and its impact on business and society and also the role we each play in it. As our speaker last year, he took the audience through a digital transformation journey and he will continue what he started at Perform 2018.
Senior Infrastructure Architect
Greg started his career in IT helping AT&T deal with meeting their upgrade and compliance deadlines for Y2k. Since then he has held various IT engineering positions with companies such as Target and Thomson Reuters. For BARBRI, where he has been for over 6 years, he is responsible for the day to day management of all infrastructure systems. This includes emergency troubleshooting, hardware upgrades, IT application development, and proof of concepts for new systems and technology. Greg is also a professional cellist and a 21 year member of the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra.
Senior Technical Manager
Anil leads the on-prem and Cloud, DevOps and testing teams for the quote and ordering systems for Verizon Enterprise Solutions. He also leads the cloud strategy for migrating applications from the on-prem datacenter to public and private Cloud infrastructure. Prior to this role, Anil managed key programs at Verizon around the web entities Verizon.com and Verizon.net. He also architected an innovative value-add services platform that generated new revenue opportunities with digital and security partners that successfully generated $275M in new annual revenue in four years.
