What is Perform 2022?

Perform is our annual flagship conference that brings together tech leaders, visionaries, and Dynatrace experts with customers, prospects, and partners. Over four days - two days of deep-dive training and certifications, and two days of keynotes, breakout sessions, and customer panels - we’ll share insights on industry trends, showcase the latest innovations in our platform, and explore ways businesses can Transform Faster and leverage observability and AIOps to work more efficiently in modern, dynamic multiclouds.

When and where will Perform take place?

How do I convince my boss to let me attend Perform 2022?

Registration

How do I register?

How much does it cost to attend Perform 2022?

Perform Las Vegas 2022 costs $1195 USD for the general conference pass. Hands-on-Training (HoT) Sessions are an additional $500 USD per half day session. The room rate for The Cosmopolitan, our conference hotel, is $317.46 USD per night (inclusive of resort fees and taxes).

What does the registration fee include?

The general conference registration fee includes access to all sessions on February 9 and 10, our Welcome Reception event on Tuesday evening (February 8) and the Perform final night event on Thursday evening (February 10). Breakfast, lunch and light refreshments will be provided on February 9 and 10.

If you’re participating in HoT Sessions on February 7, dinner will also be provided, inclusive of your session cost. If you’re participating in HoT Sessions or the Partner Summit on February 8, breakfast and lunch will be provided, in addition to light refreshments during two breaks.

Can I use FlexPoints for Perform?

Yes, it’s possible to use your FlexPoints for everything at Perform including your conference fee (2 points), HoT sessions (1 point each), hotel room (1 point per night), and airfare (1 point up to $1000 USD).

How do I know if my company has FlexPoints?

Please contact your Account Manager or get in touch with the Perform team at flexpointsforperform@dynatrace.com.

I received a registration/promo code; how do I use this?

If you have a registration/promo code, enter it in the registration/promo codes section on the registration form and this will be applied on the final payment page.

How does the conference registration fee charge appear on my credit card statement?

The charge will post as a transaction with “Dynatrace”.

Will I receive a receipt for my registration fee?

Yes. A receipt will be emailed to you with your confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact Perform@dynatrace.ai.

What is your cancellation policy?

We’re unable to process cancellations. We are optimistic that Covid-19 will be contained before our Perform event, but if the event is cancelled or postponed as a result of Covid-19, you will get a full refund on any conference or HoT session payments (including those paid via FlexPoints). If you'd like to transfer your registration to another individual within your company or have further questions, please email Perform@dynatrace.ai.

I can no longer attend. How do I transfer my event registration to someone else?

Hotel & Travel

When should I arrive?

Perform will officially kick off on Tuesday, February 8 at 6:00 pm and conclude on Thursday, February 10 at 11:00 pm. If you’re participating in any of the HoT Sessions on Monday February 7, please plan to arrive on the morning of Monday February 7 at the latest.

If you’re participating in HoT Sessions or Partner Summit on Tuesday February 8, please plan to arrive on Monday February 7.

How do I make my hotel reservation?

When completing the registration form, you will be asked if you require a hotel room or not. If you do, please select yes and we’ll sort the rest. The room rate for The Cosmopolitan, our conference hotel, is $317.46 USD per night (inclusive of resort fees and taxes).

Who do I contact to change make changes to, or cancel, my hotel reservation?

Please do not contact the hotel directly. Email the Perform team at Perform@dynatrace.ai and we will coordinate this change for you.

Flying in? What is the closest airport?

The closest airport is McCarran International Airport (LAS).

Where will the sessions take place?

All Perform sessions will be held within The Cosmopolitan Hotel, across the 3rd and 4th floors.

What is the hotel address?

How far is the conference hotel from the airport?

The Cosmopolitan is approximately a 15-minute drive from the airport. Please note that we do not provide transportation to and from the airport.

Hands-on Training (HoT) Sessions & Certification

What are Hands-on Training sessions?

The best, most in-depth training in the industry conducted live with some of the smartest engineers on the planet. These deep-dive sessions are customers’ best chance to learn how to use the Dynatrace platform to work smarter, automate more, and future-proof themselves and their companies.

When and where will HoT sessions take place?

We will hold three Hands-on-Training session time slots:

  • Monday, February 7th from 1pm – 5pm
  • Tuesday, February 8th from 8am – 12pm
  • Tuesday, February 8th from 1pm – 5pm

What do I need to bring to my HoT Session?

Participants are required to bring their own laptop to the session. Please note: laptops will not be provided on-site. Laptops must have the capability to connect to the Cosmopolitan’s wifi network. Laptops must also meet the Dynatrace web UI requirements. Additional prerequisite information will be provided upon session registration.

I have questions about what HoT Session to attend, who do I contact?

Please contact the Perform team at Perform@dynatrace.ai and we’d love to help you find the best-suited session(s) for you.

If a HoT Session is sold out, can I still attend?

Unfortunately, once a session is full, it is closed. We are unable to add any additional people after capacity - we encourage you to register for your desired session as soon as possible!

What do “Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced mean?

Beginner sessions are for those new to Dynatrace, who have no Dynatrace certification. Intermediate sessions are best for those who are Dynatrace Associate certified or have equivalent Dynatrace knowledge. Advanced sessions are ideal for anyone Dynatrace Professional certified, or with equivalent Dynatrace knowledge.

When is Partner Summit?

Partner Summit will take place on Tuesday February 8 from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, followed by the Partner Awards and Drinks Reception.

Health & Safety

What precautions are we taking in response to COVID-19?

As we continue to plan for Perform 2022, our priority remains the health and safety of our attendees, staff, and the community. We are continuing to closely monitor news and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, the World Health Organization, as well as federal, state & local health agencies regarding events and travel.

We are continuing to monitor the status and will communicate regularly with attendees. We will continue to revise this page with more information and will send an update 4-6 weeks before the event with the latest health and safety information.

Requirements for In-Person Attendance

Vaccinations

In-person attendees MUST be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend Perform 2022 in-person in Las Vegas. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) considers individuals to be fully vaccinated:

  • 2 weeks after a second dose in a 2-dose series (such as Pfizer and Moderna vaccines), or
  • 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine)


Accepted Vaccines

All vaccines approved for emergency or full use by the World Health Organization will be accepted for in-person attendance at this event. Approved vaccines are those from Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, J&J/Janssen, Sinopharm, Sinovac, AstraZeneca, and Covishield. This list will be updated as new vaccines are accepted.

Accepted Records of Vaccination*

To receive your Perform 2022 badge onsite, registered attendees must show one (1) of the following records of vaccination:

  • COVID-19 vaccination/immunization card
  • A photo of your COVID-19 vaccination/immunization card
  • Digital verification from smartphone application, such as the CLEAR app

*Please note, the name on the above records of vaccination must match your government issued ID.


Masks

Every individual attending Perform must wear a mask at all times while indoors, unless eating or drinking. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) defines a mask as two or more layers of washable, breathable fabric that completely covers your nose and mouth, fits snugly against the sides of your face, doesn’t have gaps, and has a nose wire to prevent air from leaking out of the top of the mask. If you do not have a mask that fits these requirements, we will provide a mask for you.

To mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in Las Vegas, the State of Nevada has mandated that everyone including fully vaccinated individuals, wear a mask in public indoor settings, including resorts and casinos, restaurants, bars, showrooms and meeting spaces.

Do you require those attending Perform 2022 to be vaccinated against COVID-19?

Yes. All in-person attendees MUST be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend Perform 2022 in-person in Las Vegas.

Will you allow exemptions to the vaccination policy for medical and/or religious reasons?

No. If you are not able to provide proof of vaccination, please participate in the robust virtual option we are offering during this fully hybrid event.

What date do I need to be fully vaccinated by to participate in Perform 2022?

If you plan to check in on the first day of Perform 2022, you need to receive your second dose in a 2-dose series, or single-dose vaccine no later than January 24, 2022.

How will I prove that I am fully vaccinated from COVID-19?

Will I need the COVID-19 booster shot to attend Perform 2022?

No. The CDC considers individuals to be fully vaccinated 2 weeks following a second dose of a 2-dose mRNA vaccine (such as Moderna and Pfizer) or a single dose of a single-dose vaccine (such as Johnson & Johnson vaccine).

Will I be able to submit a negative Covid-19 test result or positive Covid-19 antibody test result in lieu of vaccination proof?

No. If you are not able to provide proof of vaccination, please participate in the robust virtual option we are offering during this fully hybrid event.

Can I request a refund if I am not vaccinated against COVID-19 or cannot provide a record of my COVID-19 vaccination?

Yes. If you wish to cancel because of the vaccine mandate, full refunds are available until January 7, 2022. Email us perform@dynatrace.ai to request a refund.

Other

What should I wear?

Business casual attire is suggested. We’d recommend comfortable footwear to be worn throughout the day, but by night formal footwear and heels are welcome!

Can I bring a guest?

You may bring a guest to stay with you at the hotel, but guests are not permitted to attend any of the sessions at Perform Las Vegas 2022, unless they pay a separate conference fee.

What is the process for foreign nationals traveling to the United States to attend Perform Las Vegas 2022?

Please read the official U.S. Department of State’s information regarding a temporary business Visas.

Travelers coming to the United States for tourism of business (B-1 or B-2 category visa) purposes for 90 days or less from qualified countries* may be eligible to travel without a visa if they meet the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) requirements. Currently 38 countries* participate in the VWP. View a full list of participating countries, and additional information on VWP requirements.

* The visa application process can take eight months or more, so we encourage attendees from countries other than the United States to apply for visas as early as possible, but no later than three months before they wish to enter the United States.

What type of visa will I need?

For conference goers, you’ll need either a B-1 or B-2 US visa in order to be able to enter the United States. This business visa gives you permission to stay in the US up to six months. That should be able to cover your conference days/week plus some sightseeing before and/or after the convention.

Documentation of your conference attendance may be required. Your conference fee payment receipt may be sufficient, but please contact the Perform team at Perform@dynatrace.ai if you have any additional questions.
