As events around the world are continually canceled, and teams are feeling more and more isolated, our team wanted to provide a resource center that will help people learn, demonstrate the ins and outs of Dynatrace through live sessions with our experts and also showcase how Dynatrace has helped global organizations around the world.
I think it’s an obvious statement to make, but the COVID-19 virus has taken everyone by surprise, in terms of how quickly it has disrupted our lives, and how disruptive it has been to so many people. Our thoughts are with everyone around the world who is currently suffering or has lost loved ones as a result of the virus.
We are also extremely sympathetic to those that are without work or have had to shut down a business. We are hopeful that the world can, and will, quickly return to normal. But for now, we’re having to adapt to a new normal in every aspect of our lives.
As the world socially distances, we are seeing significant increases in website traffic as people turn to their phones and devices, to connect with loved ones, buy online, distance learn, work remotely, and continuously keep up with the news.
I’ve recently had several conversations with many of our customers to check-in and see how they’re coping with remote working, ensuring applications are stable, and ensuring systems are available. I’ve seen some of their Dynatrace instances, which are showing 5x traffic volumes, sometimes even more, but constant % of incidents (i.e. it’s not increasing!). Dynatrace has been busier than ever during this pandemic, as applications and monitoring become more important than ever to businesses and their customers.
Thankfully, many are praising having Dynatrace to help them collaborate remotely with teams, monitor their applications and ensure availability to the highest demand applications with no errors or downtime. One customer said ‘I have no idea what I’d do without Dynatrace. Oh, I know, I’d be working three times as many hours, stressed out of my brains.’ This is just one of the many anecdotal thanks we’ve had from customers during this time, and we want to offer more ways to help our customers and those of you who aren‘t a customer – yet.
A resource center to help you ‘transform the way you work’
As events around the world are continually canceled, and teams are feeling more and more isolated, our team wanted to provide a resource center that will help people learn, demonstrate the ins and outs of Dynatrace through live sessions with our experts and also showcase how Dynatrace has helped global organizations around the world. But most importantly, we want to provide a place for people to network, share ideas and stay connected in a time when we feel most disconnected from the ones that we love. Maybe switch off from the drama that is surrounding us for just a bit.
Often, it’s moments like this, that make us all consider how and why we do what we do, and how we might be able to do things differently.
We hope you enjoy this resource hub. I’m really proud of our team for pulling this together in just two weeks, and whilst it’s certainly a ‘minimal viable product’ we look forward to making it something even better in the coming months with your support.
