Dynatrace Wins Comparably Awards for Leadership, Managers, Women and Diversity

Dynatrace is all about delivering perfect software experiences for our customers and partners. But, we can’t make good on those promises without delivering perfect experiences for our own Dynatracers; after all, happy employees ultimately make for happy customers. We strive every day to be an inclusive, welcoming community for all our Dynatracers, one where we lead by example in creating the best possible environment to work and grow in.

Which is why it was so gratifying to learn that we were recognized by the 2018 Comparably Workplace Awards as being among the top 50 enterprises in the country for Best Leadership Team, Best Managers, Best CEOs for Women and Best CEOs for Diversity!

Out of those 50 companies, Dynatrace cracked the top 20 for Best Leadership and landed in the top 25 for Best Managers. We were also one of just three companies from Massachusetts to make it on to either list.

Our CEO John Van Siclen got a shout out of his own from the Comparably Awards, as he was named the 18th best CEO in the country for diversity and the 31st best CEO for women. He was the only CEO to represent the Bay State on the list of best CEOs for diversity, and just one of two from a Massachusetts company to land on the top 50 CEOs for women list.

The Comparably Awards reflect companies and leaders who cultivate positive and welcoming work environments, through a combination of inclusive hiring practices, companywide trainings and awareness initiatives, and a commitment to policies designed to support employees of all backgrounds, so that everyone’s voice is heard.

While we’re of course flattered by this recognition, what we most pride ourselves on is the fact that the awards are determined based on employee submissions made to Comparably over the past year. In other words, Dynatracers do feel that their opinions and contributions are respected, and that, regardless of race, gender or background, everyone gets an opportunity to succeed here.

Now, don’t get me wrong, there’s always more work to be done in creating a diverse workforce with greater top-down support from our leadership team, so we can continue fostering a platform for all voices. But, it’s great to see that so many of our Dynatracers feel that we’re moving in the right direction, and we can only hope that they’ll continue to both feel that way and help us build on these successes as we move further down the road ahead.
