UX Researcher (m/f/x) - Senior to Principal level

In a nutshell, User Experience Research helps reveal who Dynatrace users really are, their needs and expectations in regards of our product, and their actual customer journey with it. 
As an experienced UX Researcher you will join a global team of about 30 designers & researchers sitting across our R&D labs in Austria, Poland, Spain, and the United States.

Your role

  • Build and take ownership of the research process and roadmap, and work as a self-directed member of the UX Research team.
  • Further establish processes, methods, and tools as the internal demand for user research keeps growing.
  • Work and continuosly partner with global experience design teams, product managers, engineers, customer support representatives — and actual customers.
  • Conduct user tests, in-depth interviews, surveys, and behavioural analysis.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources, and most importantly draw and share back actionable insights from that.
  • Help teams define measurable experience metrics, indicators, and key results.

Your profile

  • You have solid experience and a demonstrated track record of setting up, leading, and contributing to UX research projects for software products (indicatively 6+ years at least) – ideally with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • You have a few years of leadership experience (e.g. driving and leading topics, coordinating the work of small teams, etc.).
  • You have an high drive, ability to streamline conflicting interests, flexibility, and a dynamic mindset. 
  • You enjoy leading meetings and workshops, and holding presentations in English.

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is EUR 60,000 gross per year (based on full-time). We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.


Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and to keep our Dynatracers safe, we adapted to a hybrid working model (partly Home Office, partly at the Office). In the Post-Covid 19 reality, there will be the option to choose between a hybrid (mix of Remote Work and at the Office Work) or full onsite (at the office) working model.
