How it all started

Founded in 2005 by Bernd Greifeneder and Sok-Kheng Taing in Linz, Dynatrace has become a pioneer in observability startups. We're a company built by developers, for developers—shaped by the people who craft the product we use every day. Bernd, our Chief Technology Officer and one of our original developers, continues to lead us with a strong focus on innovation, performance, and a developer-first mindset.
