BOSTON, Mass. – March 21, 2018 — Digital performance management company Dynatrace, today announced that it has once again been named a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Application Performance Monitoring (APM) Suites. In addition, Dynatrace was positioned furthest to the right on the completeness of vision axis and is the only company to hold a Leader position in all eight versions of the report.*

“This year’s recognition is particularly rewarding for us,” said John Van Siclen, CEO of Dynatrace. “Five years ago, we anticipated the disruption that cloud, microservices and DevOps would have on the application and infrastructure markets. Unlike our competitors, we made the bold move to reinvent our enterprise monitoring platform, and that bet is paying off in a big way today. We reinvented instrumentation making it automatic at web-scale; we re-imagined the scope tying user-experience, application layers, infrastructure and network together into an all-in-one full-stack view; and we placed a sophisticated AI engine in the middle to provide insights and answers, not just more data on glass. I’m pleased to see analyst firms, like Gartner, recognizing, what we feel are, the results of this move, and the value of our innovation.”

As part of its reinvention, Dynatrace now provides major releases of its new offering every two weeks, 26 times per year, assuring continuous innovation for its thousands of enterprise customers. With the pace of technology change today, having a high performing development process that works at scale is imperative to maintaining a competitive advantage.

“One of the other keys to success is our focus on constantly exceeding customer expectations,” continued Van Siclen. “This starts with software that works better than advertised and continues in how we on-board our customers, advise and mentor them on their performance journey, and how we assure their success across a number of use-cases spanning operations, development, and digital business owners. I’d like to thank our many customers and partners, who we feel, have helped us once again achieve this recognition.”

During the last 12 months, Dynatrace has extended its leadership in cloud monitoring with strategic alliances and capabilities for AWS LambdaMicrosoft AzurePivotal Cloud FoundryVMware Cloud and SAP Cloud. It has further unveiled new innovations that offer unparalleled visibility into real user-experiences with Visually Complete, Session Replay, and Davis, the first AI-powered digital assistant for performance monitoring.

In June 2017, in Gartner’s Market Share Analysis: Performance Analysis Software, Worldwide, 2016, Dynatrace was a Selected Key Vendor, which Dynatrace attributes to its consistent double-digit growth, fueled by the breadth and depth of its new industry-leading AI-powered, full-stack monitoring and application intelligence platform.
