Your role at Dynatrace

In this role, you will help customers maximize the value of the Dynatrace platform by delivering professional services across the entire observability lifecycle—from implementation and configuration to optimization, adoption, and ongoing technical advisory. You will work closely with customer stakeholders, architects, and operations teams to modernize monitoring practices, improve application performance, accelerate root-cause analysis, and support digital transformation initiatives.

Dynatrace provides a comprehensive enablement program combining instructor-led training, self-paced learning, hands-on labs, and mentoring to ensure consultants are equipped for success. Upon completion of onboarding, consultants are expected to act as trusted advisors, technical experts, and customer advocates, delivering high-quality outcomes and exceptional customer experiences.

Due to the nature of the projects and security clearances associated with this role, applications are restricted to Singapore citizens.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Dynatrace platform across customer environments.
• Drive observability adoption by onboarding applications, services, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and business processes into Dynatrace.
• Conduct health assessments, architecture reviews, and best-practice recommendations to improve platform effectiveness and operational maturity.
• Partner with customer teams to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application performance, availability, and user experience issues using Dynatrace observability capabilities.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, alerts, workflows, and analytics to meet both IT and business stakeholder requirements.
• Deliver customer enablement workshops, knowledge transfer sessions, and hands-on training to improve platform adoption and operational self-sufficiency.
• Provide consulting services on observability strategy, monitoring standards, automation, cloud modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Advise customers on platform governance, instrumentation strategy, cost optimization, and observability best practices.
• Collaborate with customer stakeholders to review performance trends, operational insights, and actionable recommendations during regular governance and status meetings.
• Ensure the health, stability, and continuous improvement of Dynatrace deployments, including upgrades, enhancements, and platform optimization activities.
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, implementation guides, architecture diagrams, and project deliverables.
• Work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Solution Engineering teams to identify expansion opportunities and support customers in realizing additional value from the Dynatrace platform.
• Represent Dynatrace as a trusted technical advisor, fostering strong customer relationships and driving successful business outcomes through observability excellence.

Mandatory Skills/Experience

• Proven hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise software solutions in complex environments.
• Demonstrated practical technical expertise gained through direct solution delivery, deployment, and customer-facing engagements, with a strong track record of hands-on implementation rather than solely advisory or managerial responsibilities.
• Solid presentation and writing skills as well as experience with creating professional reports and deliverables.
• Must be a highly motivated energetic self-starter who excels in fast-paced, dynamic, team environments and committed to getting results.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation communications skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to identify technical value delivered and articulate the business value it creates

Desired Experience:

• Previous consulting experience and / or Project Management experience is a plus.
• Cloud and Infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
• Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of Dynatrace Technology experience Dynatrace Product Certification.

What will help you succeed

• 2+ years IT working experience in the areas of Application Performance Management, application monitoring, network administration, system administration, performance engineering / testing, or Java/.NET development.
• 1+ year of experience in software engineering and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• 1+ year of solid enterprise level .NET or Java development/support/operations.
• 1+ year of experience in web programming: JavaScript, AJAX and other JavaScript frameworks Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with application technologies (J2EE, .NET, Citrix, Microservices).
• Experience with database technologies (Oracle, DB2, MS SQL).
• Good understanding of distributed applications.
• Good understanding of web and enterprise applications.
• Ability to address complex application environments to provide customers with clear guidance on implementation strategy and potential performance improvements.
• Excellent organizational/time management skills.
• Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and a passion to learn new technology.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, engaging peers and other departments to accomplish assigned goals, and effectively execute projects in a matrix environment.
