In the heart of our platform, Grail is the key enabler for storing and analyzing massive amounts of observability data and builds the basis for all Dynatrace applications. The entire product is built on top of the Platform and relies on it. The Grail area is responsible for scalable, distributed writing

and reading of data, Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) and Distributed Query execution. Hyperscale, lightning performance and delivery are key aspects you will deliver with your teams. Our engineering teams thrive on a foundation of technical excellence, freedom, feedback, and responsibility. Your responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and further grow selected engineering teams
  • Foster a culture of collaboratin, innovation and continuous improvement
  • Identify talent and provide career guidance and mentor team captains
  • Strongly collaborate with the responsible Team Captains, provide mentoring and coaching
  • Oversee the performance, alignment, and career development of your teams, including promotions and compensation planning
  • Collaborate closely with teams from other departments to ensure efficient cross-functional collaboration and alignment
  • Drive organizational change initiatives and support growth planning, hiring, and team scaling
  • Actively contribute to delivery planning, ensuring team goals align with company strategy
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and team health, implementing improvements based on feedback and metrics
  • Partner with Directors of Software Development to step into greater responsibilities over time

What will help you succeed

  • 3+ years of experience in leading software development teams; preferably focused on cloud and Saas products
  • A proven passion for coaching, mentoring and empowering others
  • Strong ability to drive and implement change initiatives
  • Excellent communication and leadership skill to manage teams and collaborate across departments
  • Experience breaking down high-level strategies into actionable plans for your teams
  • A collaborative mindset to foster efficient partnerships between engineering and business focused teams

Compensation and Rewards

  • We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to this position, which is EUR 65,000 gross per year (based on full-time). We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
