We are looking for an ACE Services Senior Consultant to support our continued business growth. Reporting to the Regional Services Manager, the primary function of this position is to support ACE Services success by building quality relationships with Enterprise Program Management, Sales, Consultants and Customers while leading by example delivering Services Engagements.

In this role, you will provide high-quality consulting services to our customers as a trusted advisor while assisting the wider account team to manage internal stakeholders and requirements.

You have a background in technology with an application focus and are a natural problem solver, self-driven, who likes a variety of challenges. You are confident speaking in front of various stakeholders, from executives to project managers, and application owners to developers and operations staff.

You must be eligible to work in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent Dynatrace in front of our customers, working towards becoming their trusted advisor
  • Lead by example in both technical as well as core capabilities such as presenting and technical writing
  • Define and deliver enablement sessions focused on Dynatrace solutions in our customers’ environments
  • Consult with customers to understand, and then meet, their business and technical goals
    • Relay these requirements to other team members: Consultants, Enterprise Program Manager, Customer Success Manager, Technical Product Specialist, Sales Engineer, etc.…
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Dynatrace products
  • Serve as subject matter expert on Dynatrace techniques and best practices, combining product expertise with your skills and knowledge
  • Analyze performance data and assist with performance troubleshooting / tuning of customer applications, architecture, and practices
  • Participate in project scoping and document meeting minutes
  • Build relationships that support the successful adoption and integration of Dynatrace products throughout the application lifecycle
  • Partner with the sales team as needed in presales technical sessions
  • Recommend complementary products or product features to meet customer goals

What will help you succeed

Travel Requirements

  • When onsite engagements are required, most Dynatrace Services engagements are short (one week) to mid-term assignments and domestic travel should be expected

Required Skills:

  • 2-3+ years consulting, presales, or support experience with application-focused software requiring interactions outside of the data center (other Observability tools; large, packaged apps; not simply infrastructure)
  • 1+ years of experience with the Dynatrace Platform
  • Ability to demonstrate solid understanding of Dynatrace technology, Services offerings, and Enterprise Software deployments in discussion with clients and prospects
  • Knowledge of application technologies (J2EE, .NET, Citrix, Microservices)
  • Good understanding of cloud and infrastructure technologies such as AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes etc., including mobile applications
  • Good understanding of web, enterprise, and mobile applications
  • Demonstrated ability to execute successful engagements in challenging conditions
  • Excellent organizational/time management skills with strong project management capabilities.
  • Must have strong verbal & written communication skills and a passion to learn new technology
  • Must have solid presentation and writing skills as well as experience with creating professional reports and deliverables
  • Architectural understanding of either the JEE or .NET platform and how it works, and a self-directed willingness to learn about other platforms and technologies such as PHP, node.js, Docker, etc.
  • Experience with data presentation via charts and dashboards
  • Understanding of code and container-level performance tuning, troubleshooting, and architecture best practices in large multi-tier and SOA-based applications
  • Proven problem-solving nature, with an engaged, self-motivated, can-do attitude
  • Capable of independently managing customer engagements
  • Ability to address complex application environments to provide customers with clear guidance on implementation strategy and potential performance improvements
  • Must be a highly motivated energetic self-starter who excels in fast-paced, dynamic, team environments and committed to getting results
  • Conduct education sessions and workshops for customer teams

Desired Experience:

  • Previous consulting experience and / or Project Management experience is a plus
  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • 2+ years of enterprise web or application development/support/operations (.Net, Java, JavaScript, AJAX)
  • Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of Dynatrace (or other Observability tooling) Technology experience
  • Dynatrace (or other Observability tooling) Product Certification
