Is our culture the right fit for you? Are your skills a match? Is this a place for you to shine? Our hiring process decodes this—followed by a well-rounded onboarding.

Building a world where software works perfectly starts with people who truly thrive in what they do. Our interview process is a two-way conversation, helping you understand what makes Dynatrace, Dynatrace — and for us to get to know what makes you, you. While the hiring steps may vary slightly by department, role, seniority, and location, most hiring journeys follow four key stages.
Tell us why you’re interested, what drives you, and how your experience makes you a great fit.
We give every application the same time and consideration. If your profile matches what we're looking for, we'll call you to have a first screening phone call with the Recruiter.
Your first interview with the hiring manager will be virtual or in one of our offices. Depending on the role, you may have a second round interview and, in some cases, a third‑round assignment.
If everything points to a strong fit for a role, we'll be happy to make you an offer. We hope your recruiting experience drives you to join us and get onboarded as a Dynatracer!
Screening and interview steps may slightly vary by department, role, seniority, and location.
Be cautious of fraudulent job-related communications that claim to be from Dynatrace or affiliated with us. See which actions are part of our hiring process, and which ones should be considered red flags. If you're unsure about an email or message from Dynatrace or have questions about applying, email careers@dynatrace.com.

While we try to get back within a few weeks, it can vary depending on how popular the role is. Stick with us, we appreciate your patience!
Not every role includes these steps. But when it does, an assignment is a task designed to showcase your job-specific skills and give you a taste of the role's responsibilities.
The third round of interviews is separate from the assignment. It's usually for roles that require collaboration with a broader range of stakeholders. During this round, you'll meet Dynatracers from different levels who might work with you in the future. This is your chance to showcase your adaptability and understand how you perform in various company-specific scenarios.
