Extensive support for .NET Technologies

dynaTrace Diagnostics analyzes applications based on all popular MS .NET technologies, such as ASP.NET, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and ADO.NET, even if they are hosted using COM+ Component Services. Even calls to Java servers are analyzed in an integrated fashion using its support for heterogeneous applications.
dynaTrace Diagnostics supports all shipping versions of the .NET Framework, from .NET 1.1 to 2.0 and even the newest version, .NET 3.0. Server platform support is also wide and deep, with support for Windows 2000, XP or Windows 2003 server.

Integration with Visual Studio

To further simplify problem resolution, dynaTrace Diagnostics directly integrates with Microsoft Visual Studio through its CodeLink plug-in. Once dynaTrace Diagnostics has identified a certain source code fragment as the root cause of a particular problem, developers can directly jump from the dynaTrace Diagnostics Client to the exact location within their Visual Studio development environment where they need to apply the necessary changes.
