dynaTrace offers comprehensive educational services that enables users to make the most of their dynaTrace investment. We provide a multi-channel learning platform designed to accelerate your ability to deploy and use dynaTrace, ensuring you are able to gain value as quickly as possible. After the initial phases of adoption, we provide continuing education options designed to encourage continuous usage as well as continued maturity with application performance management (APM) disciplines and dynaTrace throughout your organization.

dynaTrace’s educational offerings target a variety of audiences: Developers, architects, test center and application management/production operations teams. The courses can be delivered at your location or at dynaTrace hosted training centers. On-site classes can be customized based on your audience and application needs. Standard courses are:

• dynaTrace Core Concepts - 1 day for all target audiences
  This course provides the foundation, and is a prerequisite, for each subsequent classroom course. Topics include: dynaTrace architecture, core concepts of dynaTrace and APM, introduction to leveraging dynaTrace throughout your SDLC, configuring basic monitoring, performing basic application analysis and continuous APM. This course is mandatory for certified dynaTrace engineers.
• Analysis and Diagnostics - 2 days for developers, architects and testers
  Building on the topics introduced during Core Concepts, you’ll learn how to perform basic architecture validation, identify and locate bottlenecks in Java and .NET applications, identify performance characteristics and trends for business transactions and services, identify architecture and resource bottlenecks and steps necessary for memory and thread analysis. This course is mandatory for certified dynaTrace engineers.
• Analysis Best Practices - 4 days for developers and architects
  Discover and understand real world applications based on best dynaTrace practices and process model. This course provides an extensive understanding of advanced analysis best practices. Various "real-world" as well as erroneous applications are analyzed based on a dynaTrace process model. In addition, this course covers dynaTrace deployment and scaling topics which are important for advanced dynaTrace users. This course is mandatory for certified dynaTrace engineers.
• Monitor, Triage, Operate - 2 days for application management and operations teams
  Raise monitoring data to management visibility; find and assign problems quickly; deploy, scale & operate dynaTrace. This course is targeted at people operating and monitoring business critical systems and also operating/managing the dynaTrace system itself.
• Advanced APM, Integration and Automation - 2 days for application management and operations teams and testers
  Integrate dynaTrace with your environment (e.g. Testing and Enterprise Management) and automate APM tasks. This course is for people who need to extend or integrate dynaTrace and to automate performance management, regression and reporting. It also covers the configuration of dynaTrace Sensor Rules for an even deeper understanding of dynaTrace from the operations and test center perspective.
