ActiveGate release notes version 1.239

With this release, the oldest supported ActiveGate versions are:

Dynatrace ONEDynatrace ONE Premium
1.2211.215

How long are versions supported following rollout?

Kubernetes monitoring

Improved the processing of Kubernetes pods:

  • We now reliably detect pods with a lifetime below 1 minute. Previously, pods would occasionally be missed.
  • Pods that succeed or fail on their own now show up with their termination states Succeeded or Failed (previously, pods sometimes showed up as Running, even though they had terminated). Pods deleted in a running state will still show up as running. Additional deletion information will be added in one of the subsequent releases.
  • Pod events are now properly booked onto the pod. Previously, short-lived pods were not recognized by Dynatrace, and therefore the Kubernetes event was booked onto the related namespace entity instead.
