Red Hat maintains different support models for OpenShift Container Platform versions 3.x and 4.x releases. The support for OpenShift Container Platform versions 3.x releases is aligned with calendar dates. The releases for OpenShift Container Platform versions 4.x follow a release-driven, phased life cycle where at least 3 minor versions are supported at any point in time. Red Hat aims to forecast future releases with a three-month cadence. See Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform lifecycle policy for details.
Dynatrace offers support for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform within days of a release and follows the same support model as Red Hat.
OpenShift Container Platform versions 4.x support

|4.1||Jun 2019||At 4.4 release (ending in 1.191)|
|4.2||Oct 2019||At 4.5 release|
|4.3||Jan 2020||At 4.6 release|
|4.4||Apr 2020||At 4.7 release|
OpenShift Container Platform versions 3.x support
|OCP version1||Released||End of maintenance support 1|
|3.11||Oct 2018||Jun 2022|
1 All of the above-listed versions have been verified with multiple OneAgent versions.
2 Prior to May 2020 (pre 1.191) Dynatrace offered a three-month upgrade grace period for OpenShift distributions due to the offset between delivery schedules. As of May 2020, Dynatrace provides nearly same-day support. Thus our support model no longer requires the three-month grace period. For all OneAgent releases prior to May 2020 (earlier than OneAgent version 1.191), Dynatrace will extend support by three months to honor pre-existing OneAgent installations based on the previous support model.
See the release notes for OneAgent support policies and the dates of when platform versions are no longer supported.
