Uninstall ActiveGate
ActiveGate has a dedicated uninstall program. You'll need to run it to remove ActiveGate from your system.

On Windows:
Use the Windows Control Panel to remove ActiveGate. -
On Linux:
Go to the/opt/dynatrace/gateway
directory and, using root rights, run theuninstall.sh
script.
After uninstall
Following uninstallation, log files and part of the configuration are preserved in the ActiveGate installation directory. You'll have to remove these files manually.
By default, ActiveGate is installed in the following directories on Windows and Linux:
- On Windows:
C:\Program Files\dynatrace\gateway
- On Linux:
/opt/dynatrace/gateway
With ActiveGate successfully removed, the Deployment status will continue to display the uninstalled ActiveGate in the Update status as Unknown
for 7 days.
