Davis Assistant for Google Assistant
To enable the Davis Assistant Action for Google Assistant

Sign in to Google with the account associated with your Google Assistant-compatible device (for example, Google Home Mini).

In a new tab, go to the Google Assistant integration page in Davis Assistant Web (Configurations > Integrations > Google Assistant).

Select Add Google Assistant Action.

Select Link.

Select the Dynatrace environment you'd like associated with your Google account and select Authorize.
Note
You can select a different Dynatrace environment later on the Davis Assistant Web Google Assistant integration page.

optional Navigate to Davis Assistant Web (https://assistant.dynatrace.com) and add tags to filter interactions and enable notifications and save changes.
Note that if you enable notifications, you'll see an additional field for filters that apply specifically to notifications. These tags are in addition to interaction tags to make notifications more specific.

With your Google Assistant-compatible device nearby, say
Okay Google, talk to Dynatrace Davis
. You should now be able to talk to Davis Assistant. optional You can add the Davis Assistant Voice Navigator browser extension to your web browser. The extension allows you to view Dynatrace pages associated with your voice interactions with Davis Assistant using Google Assistant.
Talk to Davis Assistant using Google Assistant
After adding the Davis Assistant Action to the Google account associated with your Google Assistant-compatible device, you can start a conversation with Davis Assistant by telling your device Okay Google, talk to Dynatrace Davis
. Also, as a shortcut, you can immediately say a phrase or ask a question such as Okay Google, ask Dynatrace Davis what happened yesterday
.
Note
Davis Assistant continues to listen for a few seconds after a response that includes an optional follow-up interaction. If Davis Assistant stops listening, you'll need to preface your next interaction with Okay Google, ask Dynatrace Davis

View Dynatrace pages associated with your Google Assistant interactions
If you have a computer running the latest version of a browser, you can optionally add the Davis Assistant Voice Navigator browser extension. The extension enables automatic navigation to any Dynatrace pages that are referenced in your Davis Assistant Google Assistant interactions.
Change the Dynatrace environment associated with your Google Assistant Action
Navigate to Davis Assistant Web (https://assistant.dynatrace.com). Select Configurations in the navigation menu, then Integrations > Google Assistant. Choose your desired environment and Save changes.
Enable Davis Assistant notifications through Google Assistant
In Davis Assistant Web
- Go to the Google Assistant integration page (Configurations > Integrations > Google Assistant).
- Select Enable notifications.
- optional Add tags to Filter notifications by tags to reduce unnecessary notifications.
- Select Save changes.
You can also enable Davis Assistant to send notifications by talking directly to your Google Assistant-enabled device—first tell your device Okay Google, talk to Dynatrace Davis
, then say Enable alerts
