Filter Davis Assistant interactions using tags

To ensure that Davis Assistant provides the information that's most relevant to you, all Davis Assistant interactions, including in Davis Assistant Web, support filtering based on Dynatrace tags.

To configure tag-based filtering in any integration

  1. Sign in to Davis Assistant Web (https://assistant.dynatrace.com).

  2. Select Configurations from the navigation menu; the Integrations page should be displayed.

  3. Select the tile for the integration you'd like to filter (for example, Microsoft Teams).

    Notes

    • You can only configure integrations that have been enabled, or connected to Davis Assistant. These should be listed under the Your Integrations heading and have Enabled in the card's header.
    • To configure Slack integration, you must first link your Davis Assistant account to your Slack account. This can be done using the /davis-assistant link slash command. For more information, check our help page on enabling the Davis Assistant Slack app.
    • To configure Microsoft Teams integration, you must first link your Davis Assistant account to your Teams account. You can do this by sending Davis Assistant the message link my account in a private chat in Teams. For more information, check our help page on enabling the Davis Assistant Teams app.
  4. In the Filter interactions by tags field, enter one or more tags to filter interactions by. Davis Assistant lists available tags as you type.

    Note

    Only entities matching all configured tags are used in filtered interactions.

  5. Optional Enable notifications.

    Note that if you enable notifications, you'll see an additional field for filters that apply specifically to notifications. These tags are in addition to interaction tags to make notifications more specific.
