This page lists the custom chart types that are available for Dynatrace dashboards.
The timeseries chart supports up to 5 metrics in a single chart.
The following timeseries chart types are available:
Stacked area charts
Stacked bar charts
You can set the type for every metric in the chart. To select the type of a chart:
- Expand the table row of the required metric to access the available charting options.
- From the Chart type list, select the required visualization.
The pie chart shows a distribution of measurements between metric dimensions. It supports only 1 metric in a single chart.
The example below shows the distribution of number of calls between methods of the demo application.
Select a dimension in the legend to deactivate it and temporarily remove it from the chart.
Top list charts
Top list charts show up to 15 of the top dimensions of a metric. This chart type supports only 1 metric per chart.
The example below shows top-5 hosts by CPU usage.
When pinned to a dashboard, the top list chart displays as many entities as possible, up to a maximum of 15, depending on the size of the tile. If some entries don't fit on the tile, an overflow message is displayed, for example 5 more.
Single value chart
The single value chart shows the aggregated value of a metric for the specified timeframe and aggregation.
