The Recorder and the multi-browser testing platform enable you to record scripts by navigating a target website in a way that reflects common usage of the site. You can record scripts to test browsers and Mobile Devices.
New features and enhancements
- The waterfall chart of playback results is upgraded to match the waterfall chart in the Dynatrace Portal. See the Synthetic Monitoring Platform 2017 April release notes for more details about the waterfall.
These enhancements to the Web Recorder were included in the April 5, 2017 release of the Dynatrace Portal:
- Support for the Navigate action has been improved, allowing you to add additional Navigate commands to your test during the recording, or insert them manually into the transaction timeline.
- You can now comment and uncomment actions in a script for debugging and script maintenance.
