Submit script action

Submit action

The Submit action represents form submissions that are triggered by pressing the Enter key rather than by clicking a submit button.

When the form does not provide a submit button, the script requires a Submit action to locate the form to submit.

The Submit action is defined by the following settings:

  • Target Window – The window where the click occurs.

  • Locators – The elements to be clicked.
    Element locators
are captured and can be edited when necessary.

Change the target window setting

  1. Change the value in the Target Window field.

Define locators

Add locators

  1. Click on the right side of the Locators area. A new row is added.

  2. If necessary, change the selection — CSS or DOM — in the drop-down list.

You cannot undo a deletion. You are not prompted to confirm the deletion.
