UEM-PurePath integration for Synthetic Monitoring

UEM-PurePath integration enables you to drill down from a waterfall chart in the Dynatrace Portal to the AppMon Client to view the PurePath related to your synthetic tests.

Enabling UEM-PurePath integration

To enable UEM-PurePath integration, you must perform configuration tasks in both Dynatrace Synthetic and the AppMon Client.

Configure Dynatrace Synthetic

Users with the Account Primary or Account Admin profile can configure UEM-PurePath integration in the Dynatrace Portal.

In the Dynatrace Portal, configure the RUM settings in the Account settings page to define the Dynatrace Server for integration.

In the Portal menu, select  > Account settings.

If Real user monitoring settings are not available, open a License Management support ticket and request that the integration with AppMon be enabled for your account.

Configure the integration settings:

  • Server host name/IP address – The host or IP address for the AppMon Server.
  • Server port – The port used by the AppMon Server.
  • SSL – Enabled by default ; set the switch to off to disable SSL.

Configure Dynatrace AppMon

In Dynatrace AppMon, configure the AppMon Server to integrate with the Dynatrace Portal. For details, see Synthetic Monitoring configuration in the Dynatrace AppMon documentation.
