Filter data model

The REST API uses filter definitions to constrain the test results returned from the Test Results resource. The filter definition is always an XML document in UTF-8 encoding.

  • Each filter definition starts with a single¬†TESTDATA_INPUT element.
  • Each TESTDATA_INPUT element contains a single MonitorSet element.
  • Each MonitorSet element contains one or more Monitor elements.
  • Each Monitor element contains a single mid element.
  • Each mid element contains the text for a monitor ID to be included in the filter definition.

 Example

The following is an example of a filter definition that includes two monitor IDs:

<TESTDATA_INPUT>
    <MonitorSet>
        <Monitor>
            <mid>53312</mid>
        </Monitor>
        <Monitor>
            <mid>53313</mid>
        </Monitor>
    </MonitorSet>
</TESTDATA_INPUT>
