SSO metadata

Housekeeping > Maintenance, then click the SSO metadata tile.

For general information about SSO, see Single sign-on (SSO) in NAM.

In general practice, this screen is purely informational, but it may be of use within a testing or debugging context for SSO. It is not part of the typical workflow.

If you change the URL or IdP certificate, new metadata is generated automatically. You must then copy it to all SPs.

HTTPS

For better security, this is the recommended type of connection.

The edit box displays the metadata to use for HTTPS connections. If you change the URL or IdP certificate, new metadata is generated automatically. You must then get the metadata (use the Copy to clipboard or Download metadata button) and copy the metadata to all SPs.

HTTP

This type of connection is not secure and is therefore not recommended. Use HTTPS if possible.
