On the DNA Performance Overview chart, colored bars represent task time.
- The green bars and represent node time in the capture. These bars are the only ones present when the selected task is an unmerged task. If the selected task is a merged or adjusted task, the green node time bars appear below a double vertical line in the chart.
- The yellow and orange represent network time in each direction in the capture. When there are multiple remote segments there will be a pair of these yellow and orange bars for each remote segment.
- The purple bars represent WAN optimization time. Double-click this bar to drill down to the Node Processing Detail view with the corresponding threads selected.
For most analysis purposes, the significant bars are the two network time bars plus the client and server node time bars. Optimally, extraneous nodes should be filtered out of the capture or edited out of the tasks after the capture whenever possible to make it easier to focus on the meaningful data in the capture. Use the Conversation Map to do this editing.
The Performance Overview chart provides the following summary results:
- Task Duration
Total capture time.
Number of errors found in the task.
