Uninstall the NAM Console through the Windows Add or Remove Programs control panel.
In Windows, open Start ► Control Panel.
Click Uninstall a program.
Select the NAM Console (Dynatrace NAM Console) in the list of installed programs and click Uninstall/Change above the list.
Alternative access methods:
Double-click the product name.
Right-click the product name and select Uninstall/Change.
The Welcome screen presents you with options for the installed software.
Select the Uninstall NAM Console option and click Next.
If software must be stopped, you will receive a warning; read it and click Next.
It may take a few moments to stop the software.
Read the summary screen and then click Uninstall.
If you have also installed NAM Server or ADS on the same machine, you now need to restart the “Watchdog Service” Windows service manually before these report servers can restart.
Why: the shared “Watchdog Service” for those report servers was stopped during the uninstallation and is not automatically restarted. This means the remaining report servers will not restart automatically. To restart it manually, find “Watchdog Service” in the list of Windows services on your machine and restart it.
What to do next
The NAM Console uninstallation does not remove or detach the database. If you want to discard the database, you need to do it manually using SQL Server management tools.
