Configuring AppMon to receive data from NAM

To integrate AppMon and NAM, you must configure your AppMon installation to receive performance data from NAM. See System Profile - Integration  for more information.

Open the AppMon Client.

Open the sliding panel on the left side of the screen and expand the System Profiles list.

Right-click the system profile for which to enable integration with NAM and select Edit System Profile from the context menu.

In the system profile panel, select Integration and click Add.

In the URL box, type the IP address of your NAM Probe. The default ports are 443 for HTTPS and 9091 for HTTP.

Optional: User and Password are required only if you wish to connect to the NAM Probe over non-secure HTTP. In the User and Password boxes, provide NAM Probe user credentials - compuware /vantage  or adlex/vantage by default.

Optional: Click Test connection to see whether your configuration is successful.

Connection error

Connection error will occur if the NAM Probe being added presents the certificate that is already present in AppMon Certificate manager. See, [Known Issue]({link_to_id id_known-issues}) for more information.

Confirm the changes.

Select Settings ► Dynatrace Client.

Select Services.

Enable (if disabled) non-secure connections on port 8030.
