Network overview

NAM Server ► Reports ► Network ► Overview

Navigation:

  • Click a bar in any time-based chart (such as Bytes over time on the Bandwidth tab) to focus the report on the selected time.
  • Click a slice or bar in any of the other charts to see details and access any zoom or drilldowns available for that slice or bar.

The Network overview report has the following tabs:

Bandwidth

This tab is an overview of your network from the bandwidth usage perspective. Use it to:

  • Analyze how the number of all transmitted bytes changed over the selected period of time.
  • See the software services, sites, servers, links, and clients for which the number of all transmitted bytes is the highest.

Errors

This tab shows an overview of your network from the perspective of the occurred errors. Use it to:

  • Analyze how the number of network-related errors changed over the selected period of time.
  • See the software services, sites, servers, links, and clients for which the network-related errors occurred.

RTT

This tab shows an overview of your network from the RTT perspective. Use it to:

  • Analyze how the RTT value changed over the selected period of time.
  • See the top ten software services, sites, servers, links, and clients for which the RTT value was the highest.

Loss rate

This tab shows an overview of your network from the loss rate perspective. Use it to:

  • Analyze how loss rate changed over the selected period of time.
  • See the software services, servers, links, clients, client sites for which loss rate was the highest.

Zero window size events

This tab shows an overview of your network from the zero window size events perspective. Use it to:

  • Analyze how the number of zero window size events changed over the selected period of time.
  • See the software services, sites, servers, links, and clients for which the number of zero window size events was the highest.

The Zero window size events metric indicates how many times the receiving machine was not able to process client requests.
