The full Service activity changes report has two tabs:

Activity tab of Service activity changes

The Activity tab shows the following:

Activity events in the selected 24h period

This chart shows service activity over the last 24 hours, with one bar for each hour (if there was activity during that hour).

This chart is a focus control for the Activity events table that follows the chart.

  • Click a bar in the chart to filter to the Activity events table to just that time.
  • The chart itself does not change when you select Zoom to this hour. It just adds a "Selected time range" filter to the Activity events table under the chart.
  • To remove that filter and reload the unfiltered report, click the Service activity changes breadcrumb at the top of the report.

Activity events

The Activity events table lists all activity events over the last 24 hours or over the time you selected in the chart.

  • Click a bar in the chart to focus the Activity events table on just the selected hour.
  • Drill down from the Software service column to configure the service or see details.

Analysis tips:

  • Click a chart bar to pop up a summary for that hour or to focus the report on the selected hour.
  • Drill down directly from the Software service column to take immediate action.
    • Show service activity details - drills down to Service activity details (see below).
    • Analyze further in Operation explorer - to analyze performance data through the business and technical hierarchies, locations, and client technology dimensions.
    • Analyze further in Network explorer - to chart usage compared to users, loss rate, and RTT.
    • Analyze further in User explorer - to investigate user activity or resolve user issues.
    • Configure software service - to open the software service wizard for the selected software service.
