About alert versions
If you upgraded from an earlier version, you may in some situations notice more than one alert definition with the same name on the list. If this is the case, it means that despite having identical names the alerts have in fact different detection or notification settings. If, on upgrade, two or more definitions with identical configurations (including the alert names) are detected, they will be merged into one entry, even if they were detected on different devices.
-
Enabled
Whether the alert is currently enabled. To set this switch, click in the Enabled column for that alert.
To see the devices on which an alert is deployed, click the alert. Devices are listed in the details panel. You can filter this table by device, in which case devices are listed for you to select.

Slack
We use the Incoming Webhooks feature to send the alert notifications to Slack. In short, to configure the Slack integration, you need to add an Incoming Webhooks app to your Slack instance and authorize NAM to send messages to a Slack channel using a Webhook URL. See Sending alert notifications to Slack.
