Report generation fails due to too many reports in the queue


AppMon: 6.x, 7.x


  1. Reports are not being generated or generated with a delay
  2. The server log contains the message
    Too many reports are already waiting for execution, will not queue any more reports until those are processed.


  1. Re-schedule report generation, avoiding too many reports scheduled at the same time or during times of high server load
  2. Increase report queue limits as explained on the page Reporting Limits

Root cause

The server cannot generate additional reports as the maximum number of reports being processed has already been reached.
