User Management (REST)

The AppMon Server offers several RESTful interfaces to manage users. You can also perform the some of these operations in the AppMon Client, at the Accounts tab of the Users item from the Dynatrace Server Settings dialog box.

GET Users

Lists all the users from the server.

The request produces application/json.

PUT User

Creates a new user with specified parameters. If such a user already exists, it will be overwritten.

The request consumes application/json.

GET User

Inquires information about the specified user account.

DELETE User

Deletes the specified user account.

POST User password

Changes the password of the currently logged in user.

Note

You can't change passwords of other users.

POST User group membership

Adds user to the specified user group. All previous group memberships remain valid. LDAP groups can not be added, as they are assigned automatically.

Inquires group membership information for the specified user account.

DELETE User group membership
