Detection of process shutdowns and crashes

Dynatrace now detects when a Tomcat or other process is shut down or crashes. Dynatrace has always detected the problems triggered by processes going offline (for example, if another service has an increased failure rate because it can no longer call an offline process). Now Dynatrace additionally informs you of the state of each process and how process state affects your system. Below you can see an example of a process being gracefully shutdown:

In contrast, here is an example of a process that has crashed:

This process crash has impacted the performance of the monitored environment. Dynatrace detects the problem and performs root cause analysis:
