Until now, Dynatrace masked only public IP addresses following explicit activation of the End-user IP address masking setting in global data privacy settings (Settings > Preferences > Data privacy). Now, by popular demand (especially from our European customers who are subject to GDPR regulations), we’ve extended this setting and added an option to Mask all IP addresses (including internal IP addresses). Existing settings won’t be changed by this setting. If you’ve previously masked your IP addresses, the option will be set to Mask only public IP addresses.
