Dynatrace now automatically removes session IDs, IP addresses, and UUIDs from detected URLs to avoid unnecessary Web request variants, promote user privacy, and make the Top web request contributors lists for each service more meaningful.
You can now also define lists of image and binary extensions so that Dynatrace can easily identify image- and binary-resource requests.
To change Service settings:
- Click the Services tile on the homepage.
- Select a service.
- Click Edit on the toolbar.
- Select Web request naming.
