Dynatrace Essentials: Exploring Problems (ES01)
In this session, we'll learn how Dynatrace helps us detect and resolve issues in our environment. We'll learn how anomalies are identified by both static and auto-adaptive thresholds, and how those signals are grouped into problems for easier investigation. We'll explore how Davis AI analyzes data behind the scenes to surface root causes and reduce alert noise. By the end, we'll know how to navigate problems with clarity, use Dynatrace tools to investigate efficiently, and fine-tune settings to better support our environment.
-
Practical Al for Observability - Dynatrace MCP in Action (ES03)
Learn how Dynatrace’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrates AI into your development and operations workflows. In this hands-on session, you’ll use MCP to troubleshoot issues, analyze performance, and optimize code - directly from your IDE or automation pipelines. We’ll show how instruction files guide LLMs to interact with Dynatrace data, enabling faster incident resolution, smarter automation, and better feedback loops across the SDLC. If you’re looking to make AI practical for reliability and performance, this session is for you.

Business Observability: Taking Your First Steps - Part 1 (ES05)
Business Observability in Dynatrace empowers you to track critical Business KPIs and the health of important Business Processes in real-time - all whilst having the context to drill down and troubleshoot IT issues that impact them negatively. In this session we will look at how to identify your first use case for implementing Business Observability, including capturing Business Events from sources such as the OneAgent or Logs. We will then look at how to analyze your first captured data points in Notebooks, before visualizing a 3 step Business Process in the Business Flow app. Along the way you will be enabled with examples from existing customers, guidance for real implementation and many more resources!
-
Introduction to Grail and DQL - Part 1 (ES07)
In this session, you will learn how to use Dynatrace Grail and DQL (Dynatrace Query Language) to analyze logs, metrics, and traces, troubleshoot issues, and gain deep insights into telemetry data. Through hands-on labs, real-world use cases, quizzes, and interactive exercises, you will become proficient in data analysis, anomaly detection, and troubleshooting with DQL.
Afternoon sessions

Dynatrace Essentials: Analyzing Your Observability Data (ES02)
In this session, we'll explore how Dynatrace gives you the power to dig deep into your environment's data and gain meaningful insights. We'll walk through dashboards, Dashboard Apps, Notebooks, and how we can use DQL to dig deeper. We'll also check out the Logs and Traces Apps and how USQL helps us analyze user sessions in classic environments.

AIOps and SRE: Automating Day 2 Operations - Part 1 (ES04)
In today’s fast-paced digital landscape, efficient Day 2 operations are essential to maintaining system reliability, reducing mean time to resolve (MTTR), and minimizing operational costs. In Part 1 of this course, participants will explore the foundational concepts of AIOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) within the Dynatrace platform. The focus will be on how Davis® AI detects anomalies and triggers automated problem remediation, and how integrating Dynatrace Workflows can elevate incident management for smarter, faster resolution. Through guided examples and platform walkthroughs, learners will begin to understand how automation can streamline operations and reduce manual effort in dynamic cloud-native environments.
-
Digital Experience Monitoring (ES06)
Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) within Dynatrace, especially when integrated with Grail, offers a powerful way to understand and optimize user journeys across applications. This session explores how DEM enhances observability by surfacing performance insights through integrated workflows and data-driven analysis. Participants will learn how to configure and manage DEM effectively, set up accurate data capture, and leverage built-in dashboards, notebooks, and DQL queries to analyze user experience. As the session progresses, it introduces advanced use cases, including writing custom DQL queries and building tailored dashboards, while also providing guidance on supporting customer implementations, navigating platform features, and accessing key resources to drive success.

Observability for Developers (ES08)
In this session, developers take control of observability by embedding it directly into their daily workflows with Dynatrace. They’ll actively use tools like the Live Debugger and code-level visibility to deliver application improvements in real time. No redeployments are required! The session showcases deep instrumentation for Java and Node.js, empowering developers to uncover performance bottlenecks and vulnerabilities instantly. With agentic integrations within the IDE, observability data becomes part of the coding experience, enabling faster troubleshooting and resolution. This hands-on session equips developers to boost productivity and reduce risk through intelligent, developer-first observability. Participants will leave having resolved real world issues and with developer focused documents for their own environment.
